NFMI Sleeves for Ops Core Headset

The OtoPro NFMI Sleeves for Ops Core Headset are custom-molded earmold sleeves designed to improve the comfort, retention, and acoustic seal of Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) earpieces used with Ops Core communication headsets. Where standard silicone tips approximate fit across a range of ear canal geometries, a custom sleeve is taken from an impression of the specific ear and matches the canal geometry exactly. The result is a more secure hold during sustained activity, reduced listener fatigue, and a more consistent acoustic coupling between the earpiece and the ear canal.

We built this product for operators and professionals who use Ops Core headsets in demanding environments and need their communication earpieces to stay in place and perform consistently. The sleeve itself does not contain electronics. It is the interface between the NFMI earpiece and the ear canal, and its fit is what determines how well the earpiece performs acoustically.

Fit styles

Two fit styles are available. Canal Size fits within the ear canal and sits flush, with a lower profile and greater discretion under headsets and helmets. Full Shell fills more of the concha bowl for a more secure hold, which some users prefer during high-movement activity. Both styles accept the NFMI earpiece. Your provider will advise on which fits your anatomy and use case.

How to order

Complete your order and we will email you instructions for proceeding with the earmold impression process at a hearing care provider in our network. Each local provider charges independently for their earmold impression services. On average, impression appointments carry a separate $50–$75 charge. Once impressions are received, your sleeves are fabricated and shipped directly to you. Note: this product includes the custom sleeves only. Ops Core headsets and NFMI earpieces are sold separately.

Pair or single ear

Color options

Eighteen shell colors are available, including clear, tan translucent, black, and a range of solid and translucent options. Color is a cosmetic selection and does not affect fit or acoustic performance.
